Vigor Pilates
Spicewood Office Park · Week of October 22, 2026
What do you make or do here that a neighbor walking past would never guess?
“Vigor Pilates works with people of all genders, ages, and sizes. Our age range starts with teens; our oldest client is 79 years young! We offer professional Pilates services. Typically, people come to us addressing specific issues such as back pain, neck pain, tech neck, posture problems, musculoskeletal issues, balance, or mobility challenges, pre/post-natal care, athlete cross-training, and more! They also come to us because they love the discipline. We are a classical Pilates studio that teaches the Pilates method, as it was created 100 years ago, and we use state-of-the-art classical equipment. The studio focuses on private and duet sessions, and also offers a few weekly small-group classes (max of 5).”
What brought you to open where you did, and what is different about that spot now?
“Owner Brenda Beckmann has lived in the neighborhood for over a decade. Since she runs and operates Vigor Pilates, being close to home and her community was an important factor in choosing a location for her private practice.”
What is one other Austin business you send people to when they need something you don’t do?
“We approach the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning as intended: a system that creates balance and uniformity in the human body. We are not a contemporary studio that views a session as a simple workout. With many Pilates studios in town offering sessions as workouts, it is important to pick a studio with well-trained teachers; for this, we recommend Ballet Austin or Align Pilates.”
